Job title: Remedial Service Engineer

Due to current demand, we are looking to add a Remedial Service Engineer to our Installation team. Service Engineers install new or replacement parts and undertake adjustments in pre-occupied homes to the highest standards of workmanship and customer service. The role is available immediately and duties include:
• Remove old windows and doors with hand and power tools if required • Measuring up the space(s) for the new windows or doors where required • Fix replacement units in place, making sure they are level and secure • Adjust doors • Seal fittings to make them weathertight • Ad hoc remedial works as required
We are looking for a positive, hardworking problem solver to join our established team. A working knowledge of uPVC windows, doors and bifolds is essential and experience within a similar role is desirable.
Candidates must hold a full UK driver’s license and will either hold a valid CSCS card or be willing to take a CITB Health and Safety Test in order to apply during the recruitment process. The role does includes travelling to and from sites, therefore a Company vehicle will be provided once initial training is complete.
The contracted working week is 40 hours Monday to Friday set between the hours of 6am and 6pm (to meet customer demand).
Salary is set at £22,464 (equivalent to £10.80 per hour).
Holidays entitlement is 30 days per year inclusive of bank holidays.
